AVMUX board - The audio and video routing system.

AVMUX is the board responsible for routing the video and audio signals. It also houses the caption insertion mixer and audio filters. The small daughter board (bottom left) is the PLL sync detector. Video to the transmitter output socket passes through a black-level clamp to remove any DC offsets from the signal and to reduce ‘tilt’ in the video waveform.
